Doug Nelson

President

Doug Nelson is President of Surface Care, LLC, the parent company of The Stone and Tile School and Stone and Tile PROS. For those not familiar with Stone and Tile PROS, it is a resource and support organization for an international network of stone and tile professionals that includes restorers, fabricators, installers, and inspectors. As administrator of The Stone and Tile School, Doug manages the curriculum and actively participates in training for many of the courses, including Specialty Coatings, Essential Marble and Stone, Tile & Grout Cleaning & Sealing, and Walls & Countertops. Doug also works directly with vendors that ask the school to test and evaluate new products and stays on the cutting edge of emerging products and technologies. He enjoys and excels at building fruitful relationships, discovering opportunities and providing thoughtful leadership to create solutions that determine a strong strategic direction for The Stone and Tile School, Surface Care and their PRO Partners.
