What’s the best way to apply sealer to a large stone patio?

Q. What's the best way to apply a sealant to a big outdoor patio ? with a roller or with a sponge ? Please help, Thanks !!

A. The very best way is with a pump up sprayer (garden sprayer). Just be sure to blot up any excess using towels or a buffer (floor machine with a terry cloth pad or carpet bonnet).
