There are several methods of sealer application. Most sealers can be sprayed on, mopped on or applied with a lamb’s-wool applicator. I prefer the lamb’s-wool applicator because it prevents streaking. Before choosing a method of application it would be advisable to consult the manufacturer of the product you plan to use.
TIP Do not allow silicone sealers to dry on the surface of the stone. If they do they can be extremely difficult to remove, requiring the use of strong solvents.
